Business Development Stage 6: Operations

Stage six of small business development is the stage where you conduct business.  At this point you should see an identifiable and possibly significant cash flow.  Since you are in the beginning stages of operation this usually does not mean profit but successful sales.

The operations stage is also comprised of specific elements: you are open from 8am-5pm, you process payroll on Friday, you have 3 employees, and so on.  These details will already be outlined in your business plan to guide daily operations.
